• Event Name: Malaysian Chess Festival Festival Blitz 2025 (also referred to as Festival Blitz Chess Championship).
• Dates: This event will take place on September 21st, 2025 (Sunday).
• Venue: All events of the 20th Malaysian Chess Festival, including this championship, will be held at the KL Gateway Mall, Lot L3.01 & 02, 2, Jalan Kerinchi, Kampung Kerinchi, 59200 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan. It is easily accessible via the LRT Kelana Jaya Line (KJ19) at KL Gateway-Universiti station.
• Organizer: The event is organized by the DAT Chess Centre (DATCC).
• Description/Target Audience: This is a fast-paced Blitz showdown, specifically catering to speed chess fans and serving as one of the dedicated Blitz competitions to wrap up the festival.
• Format:
  • Rounds: 7-9 Rounds Swiss system.
  • Time Control: 3 minutes per player + 2 seconds increment per move.
• Schedule: The event is scheduled for 14:00 (2:00 PM) on September 21st (Sunday).

• Dates: This event will take place on September 16th, 2025 (Tuesday). This date coincides with Malaysia Day.
• Venue: All events of the 20th Malaysian Chess Festival, including this championship, will be held at the KL Gateway Mall, Lot L3.01 & 02, 2, Jalan Kerinchi, Kampung Kerinchi, 59200 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan. It is easily accessible via the LRT Kelana Jaya Line (KJ19) at KL Gateway-Universiti station.
• Organizer: The event is organized by the DAT Chess Centre (DATCC).
• Description/Target Audience: This is a Rapid Age Group Championship open to various categories: Open, Under 8, 10, 12, 14, and 18. This competition is highlighted as important for nurturing young players. Due to space constraints, only the first 200 entries will be accepted.

• Event Name: Dato Tan Chin Nam International Seniors' Open Chess Championship.
• Dates: This event will take place from September 15th to 21st, 2025.
• Venue: All events of the 20th Malaysian Chess Festival, including this championship, will be held at the KL Gateway Mall, Lot L3.01 & 02, 2, Jalan Kerinchi, Kampung Kerinchi, 59200 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan. • Description/Target Audience: This is a 9-round individual tournament specifically designed for players 50 years and above (born in 1975 or earlier). • Event Name: Daniel Yong Chen-I Memorial Malaysia Chess Challenge.
• Dates: This event will take place from September 15th to 21st, 2025.
• Venue: All events of the 20th Malaysian Chess Festival, including this challenge, will be held at the KL Gateway Mall, Lot L3.01 & 02, 2, Jalan Kerinchi, Kampung Kerinchi, 59200 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan. It is easily accessible via the LRT Kelana Jaya Line (KJ19) at KL Gateway-Universiti station.
